Dearest Friends and Supporters,
I called Bob McCaslin this evening to congratulate him on winning an 8th term. It is up to him to use the time he has been given to represent all of us. I will pray for him and honor the position he holds and I ask that each of you do likewise.
It is my sincere wish that he be granted wisdom on each decision that he must make. I hope that he uses his voice to advance the cause of the citizens of the 4th District and the state of Washington with compassion and prudence.
As for me, it has been such an honor to participate in the Democratic process. My horizons are broader because of it and my heart is full of love for each of you. Thank you for your participation and your support. This is my final message of the 2008 campaign but I don’t want it to end the friendships that we have developed.
